Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ICU Job Type Contract Deliver essential, high-acuity care as a Registered Nurse specializing in the Intensive Care Unit. This contract opportunity provides an impactful platform for experienced ICU RNs to utilize their clinical expertise within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Your focus will be on compassionate, high-quality patient care for individuals requiring complex monitoring and intervention.
Key Qualifications:
Valid RN license, active and in good standing Minimum of 2 years' recent ICU nursing experience Current certifications in BLS and ACLS (required) Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills Proven ability to adapt swiftly in changing clinical situations Familiarity with electronic medical records and ICU equipment
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive care to critically ill patients, monitoring vitals, administering medications, and providing interventions as directed by care teams Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal treatment plans Use advanced monitoring and life-support equipment, interpreting data to inform immediate actions Communicate clearly with patients' families, providing updates on care plans while demonstrating empathy and professionalism Maintain accurate, timely patient records and uphold rigorous safety and infection control standards Actively participate in rounds, care planning, and continuous improvement initiatives
