1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR Circulator RN for a 13-week travel contract at an ambulatory surgery center in Vail, CO, requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience and active CO or compact RN license. Details Position is based at an ambulatory surgery center in Vail, CO OR Circulator role within a surgical services setting Schedule is 3x12-hour day shifts per week 13-week contract duration Requirements Active CO RN license or valid compact state RN license currently in hand Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required Ability to work independently with minimal supervision HIPAA compliance required Additional Information Responsible for circulating duties in the OR, including patient safety oversight, medication administration, and procedural assistance Collaborates with surgeons, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes Performs competent patient assessments, prioritization, and critical thinking in a fast-paced surgical environment Provides patient and family education to support plan of care and informed healthcare decision-making Delegates care appropriately in accordance with Colorado nursing statutes Applies Relationship-Based Care principles to advocate for patient safety, preferences, and communication Upholds Just Culture principles and organizational values DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
