3 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Surgical ICU (SICU) position at a Level II Trauma Center hospital, requiring a minimum of 1 year of experience and Epic proficiency. Details Work in the Surgical ICU (SICU) of a 426-bed, short-term acute care hospital that is part of the Yale New Haven Health System Level II Trauma Center setting Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:00) Every other weekend required Floating required as needed Charting system: Epic (experience required) Free parking available on-site Requirements Active CT RN license or Compact RN license required Current certifications: BLS and ACLS Minimum 1 year of SICU or relevant RN experience required Epic EMR experience required Trauma Center experience at a large facility required Candidates must not have any prior disciplinary actions on their nursing license Flu vaccination required; declinations are not accepted COVID vaccination required (religious/medical exemptions considered) 1 professional reference required for consideration Additional Information Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; local candidates are not eligible for this position Former permanent staff of this facility must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved by the facility during the contract 13-week contract
