1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced GI/Endoscopy RN for a 13-week travel contract at a Magnet-designated academic teaching hospital, requiring ACLS, BLS, and Epic experience. Details GI Lab unit within a 186-bed Magnet-designated academic teaching hospital Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM-7:00 PM On-call required: one weekend on-call per month Floating required to both an in-house GI suite and an offsite GI center Charting via Epic (experience required) Scrubs are provided for this role Free parking available in any unrestricted space Requirements Active CT or Compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Epic EMR experience required Prior GI/Endoscopy nursing experience required Candidates must not have any priors on their nursing license Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 2 years to be considered as a traveler Additional Information RN orientation held every other Monday at this campus Up to 7 days of RTO may be auto-approved by the facility Flu vaccine is required; declinations are not accepted COVID vaccine exemptions are accepted for religious or medical reasons only Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate One reference is required for consideration Active license is not required at the time of application
