• Description:

• Position Purpose
• The Registered Nurse (RN) - Heart Failure at Saint Francis Hospital's Hoffman Heart & Vascular Institute provides specialized, evidence‑based nursing care to adult patients experiencing acute and chronic heart failure, as well as complex cardiac and medical conditions.

Practicing within a nationally recognized Heart Failure Center of Excellence, the RN delivers high‑quality, patient‑centered care while working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team in a highly specialized cardiac care environment.

• What you will do
• + Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with acute and chronic heart failure across all disease stages + Perform detailed cardiac and systemic assessments, including monitoring hemodynamics, fluid status, daily weights, symptoms, and telemetry + Administer, manage, and evaluate cardiac and heart failure medications utilizing evidence‑based, nurse‑driven protocols + Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care + Educate patients and families on disease management, medications, and lifestyle modifications + Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition to prevent clinical deterioration •Minimum Qualifications•+ •Education•: Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program.
