Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. We are currently seeking an experienced Rheumatology Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized, compassionate care in our infusion center. This is a part-time position offering the opportunity to be part of a collaborative team that delivers great patient care and treatment in a supportive environment. This position is for Infusiuon RN coverage on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

What You'll Do:
  • Safely and effectively administer infusion therapies for rheumatologic conditions.
  • Provide comprehensive patient and family education on treatment plans, side effect management, and supportive care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practitioners, and support staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Closely monitor patient symptoms and respond promptly to changes in condition.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential patient documentation in compliance with all regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of CT.
  • Minimum of 1+ years of RN experience. Applicants without this experience will not be considered.
  • Outpatient oncology infusion experience is required (minimum 1-2 years if no BSN).
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong leadership abilities and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
  • Ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
