Camp Nurse

Job Overview Join our dynamic camp team as a Camp Nurse. Our camp services individuals with intellectual disabilities and different needs. Camp Nerden is a wonderful, joyful, peaceful place! We are looking for someone who is willing to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of our campers. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your nursing skills with the vibrant energy of summer camp life. Responsibilities Provide immediate medical attention for injuries, illnesses, and emergencies using advanced nursing skills and first aid techniques Document in the camp nurse notebook following our standing orders signed off by our camps physician. Administer medications Help with organizing camp health files of our staff, volunteers, and campers. Help keep staff, campers, and volunteers safe Requirements Ideally we are looking for one of the following: PA, APRN, RN or LPN Valid nursing license with current registration. First Aid certified Strong knowledge of medical terminology, seizure protocols, and willing to learn and follow the protocols under OEC requirements. In the event of an emergency, being able to handle high-pressure situations calmly and efficiently. Join us to make a meaningful impact!
