1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift travel position at a large Level I Trauma Academic Medical Center, requiring ACLS, BLS, and at least 2 years of ICU experience. Details ICU position within a large, short-term acute care hospital and Level I Trauma Academic Medical Center with 1,500+ beds Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:00) Average patient ratio of 1:3 on days, nights, and weekends Every other weekend (EOW) coverage required Floating required to PCU, other ICUs, and SRC campus as needed No on-call requirements Charting via Epic Parking is available at an additional cost of $125/month Requirements Active CT or Compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required Prior Trauma Center experience at a large facility required Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates and eligibility Nursing license must be free of any prior disciplinary actions Flu vaccination required; declinations are not accepted COVID vaccination required (religious or medical exemptions considered) 1 professional reference required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Former permanent staff of this health system must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved by the facility Travelers are expected to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as needed
