Job Summary The Clinical Quality and Data Coordinator (RN) for the BMT, Cellular and Gene Therapy program is responsible for regulatory compliance, quality and safety oversight, and data integrity. The role applies clinical expertise to evaluate care delivery, interpret quality and outcomes data, and drive improvements that influence practice, policy, and program performance while enhancing patient safety, outcomes, and experience. The position ensures alignment across clinical care, apheresis, and laboratory services, upholding accreditation standards from FACT, FDA, NMDP, AABB, CDPH, CIBMTR, TJC, and others. The role serves as a critical bridge between regulatory requirements and real-world clinical practice, ensuring that standards are operationalized effectively across inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings. Key responsibilities include leading the quality management system, maintaining audit readiness, driving performance improvement initiatives, overseeing document control systems, and ensuring accurate data collection and reporting to CIBMTR and other stakeholders. The role collaborates closely with clinical leadership, laboratory services, therapeutic apheresis, research teams, and regulatory partners to drive outcomes and continuous improvement. Pay Range Minimum $115,606 Midpoint $153,150 Maximum $190,736 Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements. Experience
  • Required:
    Minimum three years of experience in hematology/oncology, BMT, cellular therapy, or related acute care setting.
  • Preferred:
    Experience with FACT, FDA, and CIBMTR requirements
  • Prior experience in quality, regulatory, or performance improvement work
  • Familiarity with CIBMTR tools (FormsNet3, AGNIS), EHR systems, Excel, and REDCap
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and/or Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) Education
  • Required:
    Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Preferred:
    Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field. Special Skills
Required:
Ability to integrate clinical expertise with quality and regulatory frameworks. Strong understanding of oncology, stem cell transplant, and cellular therapy workflows. Knowledge of regulatory standards i.e., FACT, FDA, CIBMTR, NMDP, AABB, JC, CDPH. Excellent communication, facilitation, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills. Ability to interpret data trends and translate findings into actionable clinical improvements. Project management and presentation skills.
