Substitute Nurse

Substitute Nurses District wide Registered Nurses (RN) Per diem rate is $245.00 per day Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) Per diem rate is $175.00 per day

Duties/Responsibilities:

The District is seeking Substitute Nurse candidates who demonstrate the personal, professional, and organizational skills necessary to manage a diverse workload and work cooperatively and collaboratively with the district's interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, Health supervision of students in grades Pre-K to 12; Administration of medication; Delivery of treatments; Other duties as assigned.

Education/Certification Required :

- Current Connecticut license as a Registered Nurse or LPN; School nurse and/or pediatric nurse experience preferred.
