Nurse Substitute (Elementary) Woodbridge, CT Job Details Temporary | Part-time $36 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications CPR Certification RN License BLS Certification CPR RN experience Associate's degree Full Job Description SUMMARY The Woodbridge School District, a PK-6 school district of approximately 165 permanent active employees and approximately 870 students, is in need of substitute school nurses to support and provide direct substitute school nursing services as a substitute member of the nursing team at Beecher Road School.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides direct school nursing services in adherence with federal and state statutes, health and safety regulations, and district policies and procedures. Provides school nursing services for district students, employees, and visitors, including those related to required health assessments and immunizations. Collaborates with district administrators, school staff, District Medical Advisor, and local health department in relation to health needs of the district, its students, and its staff.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Required:

Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the State of Connecticut, with up-to-date CPR certification Registered Nurse must have the equivalent of at least one year of full time employment as an RN within the last 5 years

Preferred:

Associate or Bachelor degree in Nursing School health services or pediatric experience preferred

SALARY AND BENEFITS
