Unit Highlights 4E is a surgical unit with a subspecialty in oncology. Its nurses primarily care for pre-and postoperative patients with cancer diagnoses. Nurses on 4E deliver safe, efficient, competent, quality, and compassionate patient care. 4E nurses value patients' trust, are dedicated to excellence in nursing, champion teamwork, optimize patient experience, and celebrate and recognize each other. You may obtain national medical-surgical or oncology certification to demonstrate further knowledge, expertise, and skills. Also, if you are interested in administering IP and IV chemotherapy to surgical cancer patients, you can become chemo certified. Key Responsibilities As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs-from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team .
