Category Schools•RN Nurse Job Type Contract We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support students in an Extended School Year (ESY) program in Washington, DC, with the opportunity to continue into the Normal School Year (NSY).
Position Details Schedule:
July 18•August 17 (ESY)

Monday-Thursday:
2:00 PM•6:00 PM Fridays (Field Trips): 9:00 AM•6:00 PM Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care and health support to medically fragile students Assist with diabetes management and seizure monitoring/intervention Support students requiring wheelchair assistance and mobility support Perform diapering/changing and assist with activities of daily living as needed Collaborate with school staff and families to ensure student safety and well-being during classroom activities and community field trips Requirements Active RN license in Washington, DC Experience working with pediatric or medically fragile populations preferred Comfortable supporting students with complex medical and behavioral needs CPR/BLS certification required Reliable, compassionate, and able to work independently in a school setting This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact while supporting students in a supportive educational environment.
