Desired Experience:
Valid, unencumbered RN license Minimum of one year experience as a School Nurse or similar pediatric/acute care setting Comfort and proficiency caring for medically fragile students, including those requiring wheelchair support, diapering/changing, diabetes management, and seizure precautions Compassion, adaptability, and strong communication skills Responsibilities /
Duties:
Provide nursing care for elementary school students during the ESY period (July 18 - June 17), with the possibility of continuing into the next school year Deliver direct medical attention during Monday-Thursday afternoons (2pm-6pm) and extended hours on Fridays for field trips (9am-6pm) Administer medications, manage chronic conditions, and respond to emergencies as they arise Maintain clear, accurate documentation of assessments, treatments, and communications Benefits /
