3 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric Emergency Department position requiring DC licensure, recent pediatric ED experience, andTNCC/PALS
certifications. Details Pediatric Emergency Department setting within a hospital Specialized care for infants, children, and young adults presenting with urgent medical needs Available shifts include day shift (3x12s) and rotating shift (3x12s) 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts Requirements Active DC RN license required (no pending licenses) Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, andNIHSS CPI
certification required for this position Minimum of 2 years full-time (or 3 years part-time) experience in an acute care setting required Recent pediatric emergency department experience required US SSN required for consideration Date of birth required for consideration Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer Additional Information Provide specialized emergency nursing care to pediatric patients, including infants, children, and young adults Responsibilities include clinical practice, care coordination, and professional leadership within the healthcare team Care delivery is grounded in Patient-Centered Care concepts and Service Excellence standards Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills are essential for success in this role Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position All certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA)Similar jobs in Washington, DC
