Qualifications & Desired Skills:
Current and valid RN license 1+ year of recent experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) Strong knowledge of radiologic procedures and patient safety protocols BLS and ACLS certifications required Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to adapt to fast-paced and changing environments
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Prepare patients for diagnostic/therapeutic procedures and monitor their status throughout Administer medications and assist with sedation as appropriate Educate patients and families about procedures and post-care requirements Maintain accurate records in compliance with facility standards
