ER Registered Nurse Multiple Shifts Available Lake City, FL Area Direct Hire Acute Care Hospital 140+

Mixed or Nights (Rotating Weekends)

Overview:

A well-established acute care hospital in North Florida is seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Emergency Department team. This facility offers comprehensive medical and surgical services and is recognized as an Accredited Primary Stroke Center and Accredited Chest Pain Center.

Job Summary:

The ER RN delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency setting. Working collaboratively with providers and the care team, the RN assesses, performs, teaches, and manages patient care while advocating for patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, monitor, and manage patient conditions and pain levels Administer treatments and medications as ordered Document care accurately and timely in the EMR Respond promptly to patient needs and anticipate concerns Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and follow-up care Promote patient readiness for self-management after discharge

Requirements:

Active RN license Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required Minimum 1 year of Acute Care ER RN experience BLS, ACLS, and PALS required within 30 days of start
