1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel contract in Florida, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience and proficiency in both Cath and EP procedures. Details Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Lab setting within a hospital environment Unit features 3 cath rooms and 4 EP rooms 1:1 patient ratio Procedures performed include diagnostic cardiac cath, PCI, Watchman/LAAO, EP studies and ablation, and device implants Cath/EP Lab equipment used throughout the unit Documentation system: Meditech Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM On-call requirement of 8-12 call shifts per month, including 2 weekend call shifts (Saturday and Sunday) Requirements Active FL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or ARC accepted; no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the start date) Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience required Proficiency in both Cath and EP procedures strongly preferred US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted Two professional references required (Florida requirement) No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Surgical scrubs are provided by the facility Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but proficiency in Cath/EP is expected
