Summary:

The Operating Room RN responsibilities include: Proficient in the care of a sub-specialty group of patients utilizing effective managerial skills Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team Is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization Acts as a mentor and resource expert, supports and shares organizational information to all team members Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned This position requires a minimum of two years RN experience. For this position, we strongly prefer at least 1 year of Operating Room experience as an RN for consideration.

BLS (Basic Life Support) RN (Registered Nurse) ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department

Preferred Nurse Specialty Education:

Bachelor's Nursing or Bachelor's Science in related field or Associate's Nursing and RN Certification in related field

Experience :

Required includes 2 years acute care experience or 2 years Interventional/Procedural Preferred Experience includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship.
