Per Diem PACU Nurse

Our team focuses on providing world class fertility treatment while maintaining a warm, compassionate patient experience. We are seeking an experienced Per Diem PACU Nurse to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a nurse with strong recovery room experience who is also interested in expanding their skills into fertility and reproductive medicine nursing . This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive, physician-led practice while developing specialized skills in fertility care. Position Overview The PACU Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality recovery care for patients undergoing procedures such as egg retrievals and other minor surgical procedures. For candidates interested in additional hours, the role may also expand into fertility nursing responsibilities , including patient education, cycle monitoring support, and procedural assistance. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to grow within a specialized field of medicine . ResponsibilitiesPACU Responsibilities (Primary Role) Provide post-anesthesia recovery care for patients following procedures Monitor and assess vital signs, airway, pain levels, and recovery status Ensure safe recovery and discharge of patients according to clinical protocols Communicate patient status with physicians and clinical staff Provide patient education regarding post-procedure care Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR Ensure PACU safety standards and protocols are followed Fertility Nursing Responsibilities (Optional Additional Hours) For nurses interested in expanding their role: Assist with fertility procedures including egg retrievals and embryo transfers Support cycle monitoring visits (labs, ultrasounds coordination, patient education) Provide medication teaching and treatment instructions Assist in coordinating patient care throughout fertility treatment cycles Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals undergoing fertility treatment Qualifications Active RN license (Florida) PACU or post-anesthesia recovery experience required Experience in ambulatory surgery centers, OR, or recovery room preferred BLS and ACLS certification required Excellent clinical judgment and patient care skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities Interest in reproductive medicine or fertility care is highly encouraged Schedule Per diem / flexible schedule Procedure days primarily morning hours Opportunity for additional hours through fertility nursing support Compensation Competitive hourly rate based on experience Opportunity for additional income through expanded fertility nursing responsibilities Why Join White Glove Fertility?
