CVOR Registered Nurse

Category Nursing - RN - CVOR Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing for a contract opportunity. This role is essential to supporting surgical teams specializing in cardiac and vascular procedures, including open-heart surgery and interventional treatments.

Schedule:

6:00 AM - 4:30

PM Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Unencumbered RN license Demonstrated expertise in CVOR environments, supporting complex cardiovascular procedures Current BLS and ACLS certifications Good standing with all credentials required for practice as a Registered Nurse Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities in high-acuity surgical settings Excellent skills in sterile technique, patient safety, and teamwork Previous experience in a Level II Trauma Center setting preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular surgical patients Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes Prepare, maintain, and monitor sterile fields and instruments for all cardiac and vascular interventions Facilitate comprehensive patient assessments and post-operative monitoring Respond effectively to emergent situations within the CVOR environment Maintain accurate, detailed records and support a culture of safety and excellence
