Work Locations:
Bradenton, FL As part of this role, you will: Adheres to the time and attendance policy as written in the employee handbook Must be able to float to alternative locations as instructed by your supervisor with short notice to ensure adequate site coverage Responsible for providing vital signs, interviewing the patient/family, and charting Collaborates with healthcare providers in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the needs of the patients and peers Maintains positive, effective communication with providers, supervisors, and peers Ensures Provider's orders are directed to the various appropriate departments Knowledgeable and assist Providers as requested with exams, procedures, removal of sutures, etc. Completes medication and DME authorizations for patients in a timely manner What you need to bring to this role: Licensed RN in good standing with the Florida Board of Nursing required Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program required Minimum of 1 year of experience in professional nursing experience preferred Current BLS Certification through the
American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute Required Cardio Department ONLY:
ACLS Certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Health and Safety Institute Required Microsoft Office Products - Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint proficiency preferred The Staff Nurse (RN) ensures services are administered utilizing professional standards with a strong focus on quality, timely care, and exceptional customer service under the direction of the medical provider.
