Be one of the first to apply — offer rates tend to be higher at this stage Description American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Outpatient Surgery/Same Day Surgery position at a Level II Trauma Center in Bradenton, FL, with pre-op, phase 2, or infusion experience required and a variable call schedule. Details
- Outpatient surgery setting within a Level II Trauma Center with 383-bed capacity
- Unit covers Outpatient Services, Pre-Op, Phase 2 (PACU), Preadmission Testing (PAT), and Infusion Center
- Unit has 26 Pre-Op bays and 8 Endo bays with 27 staff on day shift
- Patient ratios vary by area: Pre-Op 1:1, Phase 2 3-5:1, Infusion 5:1
- Endoscopy (ENDO) procedures performed; experience preferred
- Assists anesthesia with nerve blocks
EMR:
Meditech (prior experience strongly preferred, as the learning curve is significant)- Shift hours: 5:00 AM
- 2:30 PM; unit operates 5:00 AM
- 9:00 PM
- Variable call schedule required
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday rotation required
