Job Description

Registered Nurse -
Infusion Specialist Location:
Florida (Multiple Clinics) Your bilingual communication skills will strengthen patient interactions, ensuring compassionate and clear communication throughout treatment. Additionally, your proficiency in EHR systems like Epic and Cerner will streamline documentation and enhance efficiency in care coordination. Required Qualifications:
Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Florida. IV infusion experience is required. Previous experience working with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital setting. Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to assess patient needs and conditions effectively. Ability to react calmly and efficiently in emergency situations.
CPR & BLS
certifications (current and valid). Fluent in English with excellent oral and written communication skills (Bilingual preferred). Valid Florida driver's license for clinic travel.
Key Responsibilities:
Chemotherapy Administration & Patient Care:
Safely and accurately mix and administer chemotherapeutic agents as prescribed by physicians, following ONS standards and guidelines . Ensure proper disposal of biohazardous waste , adhering to
OSHA & HRS
regulations. Conduct ongoing patient assessments to monitor and respond to treatment effectiveness.
Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in OncoEMR of all treatments provided. Ensure appropriate medication charges are recorded accurately. Adhere to all company policies and procedures during every patient encounter.
Education & Patient Support:
Facilitate chemotherapy education classes for patients and their families as needed. Provide clear guidance on medications, treatment courses, and potential side effects . Interact with patients and families in a compassionate and professional manner .
Telephone Triage & Communication:
Prioritize incoming calls and messages from patients, family members, hospitals, nursing facilities, pharmacies, and physician offices. Assess and respond to urgent and non-urgent concerns in a timely manner .
Inventory & Medication Dispensing:
Assist in medical supply inventory and re-stocking when necessary. Recommend new supply purchases as needed. Maintain proficiency in Nucleus dispensing system , including cycle counts and timely medication restocking. Ensure accurate entry of patient charges into Nucleus.
Meetings & Compliance:
Attend annual Safety / OSHA training and all mandatory staff meetings. Maintain patient and employee confidentiality at all times. Assist in training new employees on related job duties. Be available to work at multiple locations based on business needs. Comply with all federal and state regulations , including patient privacy laws and employment policies.

$30.00 - $45.00 per hour
