Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Retired Nurse Trainer to join our growing home health team. This rewarding role is ideal for a retired nursing professional who is passionate about sharing their expertise by training and mentoring caregivers and healthcare staff. As a Nurse Trainer, you will play a key role in preparing our team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care—especially for clients with specialized medical needs. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for Caregivers and CNAs transitioning into home health roles Educate staff on: Patient care procedures Medical documentation standards HIPAA compliance and confidentiality practices Evaluate trainee performance and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement Stay up to date with current healthcare regulations and best practices in home care Collaborate with office staff to support client onboarding and care readiness Qualifications & Skills Strong background in nursing homes, home health, or hands-on patient care Previous experience in training or educating healthcare professionals preferred Excellent communication and mentoring skills Passion for training and professional development Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus Requirements Eligible for Level 2 background screening Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Professional demeanor and appearance Medical or home health agency experience preferred Employment Details Per-Diem / Part-Time position Compensation will be discussed during the interview How to Apply Send your resume for review, More information will be discussed during the interview.
