Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Contract Step into an impactful nursing role within a dynamic surgical environment, providing expert perioperative care as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. This contract opportunity allows you to support exceptional surgical teams and make a meaningful difference in patient outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
Active RN license and in good standing Minimum of one year of recent experience as an RN in an Operating Room setting Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred Strong critical thinking and assessment skills Effective communicator and collaborative team player Proficient with operating room protocols, sterile technique, and patient safety practices
Essential Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care Prepare instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures according to sterile technique standards Monitor patient condition and vital signs during surgery, ensuring timely documentation and coordinated responses to clinical changes Advocate for patient safety, maintain infection control, and uphold professional standards throughout each case Provide clear patient education and support for patients and families regarding surgical interventions and recovery expectations Contribute to a respectful, responsive, and efficient work environment This contract role offers the chance to enhance your clinical expertise in a fast-paced operating room, while supporting positive surgical outcomes.
