Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - CVOR Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic environment supporting advanced cardiac and vascular care as a skilled RN in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR). This contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in an established healthcare setting known for its award-winning services in surgery, orthopedics, cardiac care, trauma, and rehabilitation.
Schedule:
6:00 AM - 4:30
PM Qualifications:
Current and valid RN license Minimum of 2 years' experience as a CVOR nurse, preferably in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Proficiency in circulating and scrubbing CVOR procedures Strong critical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills Previous travel nursing experience is a plus, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia staff, and other OR team members to ensure patient safety and smooth workflow Monitor patients throughout the operative process, anticipating needs and responding quickly to changes in status Maintain strict aseptic technique and ensure all regulatory standards are adhered to Assist in pre- and post-operative patient care and education Why Choose This Role?
