This is a contract assignment _with a high likelihood of extension and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) position, likely in a trauma-capable hospital in Florida. Here's a breakdown of what the employer is looking for: Schedule Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Every Other Weekend (EOW) required On-call responsibilities required Must work holidays as scheduled Required Experience Minimum 3 years of recent OR nursing experience Level I Trauma Center OR experience required Must be able to: Scrub (assist directly in surgery while maintaining sterile technique) Circulate (manage the operating room and patient care during surgery) Experience in: Orthopedic surgeries Neurosurgery procedures Licenses & Certifications Active Florida RN license or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) license Current:
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) BLS (Basic Life Support) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) NIH Stroke Scale certification Education & Additional Clinical Requirements Nursing degree from: An accredited nursing school, or A school approved by the Florida Board of Nursing (FBON) At least 2 years of recent acute care hospital experience Must be within the last 24 months Must be consecutive, per facility requirements Technical Skills Experience using Epic electronic medical records (EMR) system is required. Background Screening Must pass a Florida AHCA (Agency for Health Care Administration) Level 2 background screening , including: Fingerprint-based state and federal criminal background checks Abuse registry review Additional healthcare compliance screening Travel/Local Candidate Rules Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are considered local •Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
