This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative perioperative environment where patient safety, precision, and teamwork are central to daily practice. Position Overview The OR RN is responsible for providing nursing care throughout the surgical process, supporting patients before, during, and after procedures. The role includes scrub and/or circulating responsibilities depending on experience and department needs. Strong coordination with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff is essential to ensure safe and efficient surgical outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures Perform circulating and/or scrub duties in the operating room Support preoperative preparation, intraoperative monitoring, and postoperative transition of patients Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and surgical safety protocols Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists Ensure accurate documentation of intraoperative care and events Participate in surgical counts, time-outs, and safety verification processes Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition during procedures Contribute to maintaining an organized, efficient, and safe operating room environment Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of recent Operating Room experience required Experience must be within the last 2 years Strong clinical judgment and ability to function in a fast-paced surgical setting Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary surgical team Benefits Competitive hourly compensation with shift differential Relocation support including $7,000 relocation assistance and $1,800/month housing support for up to 3 months Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage Paid time off and holiday benefits Retirement savings program Continuing education and professional development opportunities Opportunity to work within a dynamic surgical services environment with a strong team-based culture This role is well suited for an Operating Room nurse who is looking to grow in a fast-paced surgical setting and contribute to high-quality perioperative care in a supportive hospital environment.
