  • Part-time Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Registered Nurse Educator to join our healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing practice across various settings, including critical care, hospital, nursing home, and home care environments. As a Registered Nurse Educator, you will play a vital role in training and mentoring nursing staff, enhancing clinical skills, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards. Your expertise in patient care, medical documentation, and medical terminology will support the delivery of high-quality healthcare services while fostering professional development within our organization. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for nursing staff, focusing on clinical skills, patient safety, and regulatory compliance. Conduct educational sessions on physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to enhance staff knowledge and competency. Mentor and evaluate nursing personnel to promote best practices in patient care across diverse settings such as acute care, pediatrics, ICU, and long-term care facilities. Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all training activities. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify educational needs and tailor training initiatives accordingly. Facilitate ongoing professional development opportunities through workshops, seminars, and simulation exercises. Promote a culture of continuous learning by encouraging feedback and supporting individual growth within the nursing team. Stay current with healthcare trends, regulations, and advancements in nursing education to incorporate innovative practices into training modules. Qualifications Valid registered nurse licensure with active clinical experience in critical care, hospital settings, nursing homes, or home care environments. Demonstrated expertise in adult education principles and teaching methodologies tailored for healthcare professionals. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical records management. Experience with HIPAA compliance and safeguarding patient information during educational activities. Proven ability to develop instructional materials and conduct engaging training sessions for diverse audiences. Excellent communication skills with the capacity to motivate and inspire learners at all levels of experience. Prior experience in ICU, pediatrics, acute care settings or teaching hospital environments is highly desirable. Familiarity with medical documentation systems and proficiency in utilizing electronic health records for training purposes.
