171443 Job Description BrightStar Care Gainesville is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide 1:1 private duty nursing to a medically complex pediatric patient in their Gainesville home. If you have been doing pediatric nursing in a hospital and you want one patient, a predictable schedule, and the clinical autonomy to practice the way you were trained — this role is worth reading. $32/hour is constrained by Florida Medicaid PDN reimbursement rates. Apply and include your schedule What We Offer $32/hour starting pay — weekly direct deposit Paid clinical orientation before first solo shift — trach care, vent management, G-tube, seizure protocols RN clinical supervisor and case manager available throughout every shift Consistent single-patient caseload with backup coverage when a primary case is interrupted Referral bonus for qualified nurses you bring to the team What You Will Do Provide 1:1 skilled nursing to a medically complex pediatric patient — conditions include trach/vent dependency, G-tube feeding, seizure disorders, and chronic respiratory disease Assess, monitor, manage equipment, administer medications, and respond to changes in condition — independently, in the family's home Follow and contribute to a physician-ordered plan of care Complete shift documentation and communicate with case manager and supervising team Must have: Active Florida RN license (or compact license valid in FL) Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience Valid Florida driver's license and auto insurance Current BLS/CPR certification TB test or chest X-ray within required timeframe Preferred — training provided for the right candidate: Pediatric, NICU, or PICU experience Trach, ventilator, or G-tube experience BSN (associate degree RNs considered) Apply Today If you're looking for a role that offers flexibility, stability, and meaningful one-on-one pediatric care , we'd love to connect with you.
