Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab in Green Cove Springs, FL

Category Nursing - RN - Cath Lab Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Cath Lab experience. This contract position requires a skilled RN ready to work in a dynamic cardiac catheterization environment. The incoming professional will play a vital role in supporting interventional cardiology procedures and patient care throughout every phase of the process.

Schedule:

Four 10-hour shifts per week 7:00 am - 6:00 pm

Qualifications:

Active and unencumbered RN license Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a Cath Lab setting Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred) Strong knowledge of cardiac medications, procedures, and related equipment Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care during pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure phases Assist physicians during invasive cardiovascular procedures and monitor patient status Administer cardiac medications and ensure adherence to safety protocols Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in the patient's medical chart Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve quality patient outcomes Act as a resource for patients and families, offering education and emotional support regarding cardiac procedures and recovery This contract role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, technologically advanced setting while making a positive impact on patients' cardiovascular health.
