In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive health services to students ensuring a safe and healthy environment conducive to learning and growth. Your expertise in pediatric and adolescent health, combined with your ability to handle emergency situations confidently, will help promote wellness and support students' academic success. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners while working within a dynamic school setting. Requirements Valid nursing license with current registration; experience in pediatrics or school health preferred. Proven expertise in Level II trauma center experience, emergency medicine, hospital medicine, or urgent care settings. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and patient assessment techniques relevant to children and adolescents. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems for efficient documentation of patient care activities. Ability to perform venipuncture, injection administration, IV insertion, and vital signs measurement accurately. Experience working with diverse populations including Geriatrics or post-acute care is a plus but not required. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and educate students on health topics. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and best practices for maintaining confidentiality of medical records.
