- Clear opportunities for career advancement Your Role as a Home Hospital Registered Nurse As a Home Hospital RN, you will provide higher-acuity skilled nursing care directly in patients' homes while supporting recovery, independence, and safe healing.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans
- Provide advanced skilled nursing treatments and patient education
- Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Document visits efficiently using AI-assisted tools Common treatments may include:
- TPN administration
- Chest tube management
- Lab draws
- IV therapy and maintenance
- Wound vacs and wound care
- Post-surgical recovery support
- Respiratory care
