Qualifications & Skills:
Active and unencumbered RN license Minimum of 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA preferred) Strong critical thinking and procedural sedation skills Familiarity with cath lab imaging equipment and sterile technique Effective communicator and collaborative team member
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide expert nursing care during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and implantable device procedures Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to deliver optimal patient outcomes Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure, intervening in emergencies Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly Provide patient and family education regarding procedures and post-care instructions
