Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Registered Nurse (RN) with pediatric experience to join our dynamic team. This vital role involves delivering specialized nursing care to children with diverse medical needs, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for pediatric healthcare, excellent clinical skills, and a collaborative spirit to support our mission of compassionate care. Responsibilities Provide expert nursing care to pediatric patients with complex medical conditions, including those requiring long-term and acute care. Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions, following strict aseptic techniques and safety protocols. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, vital sign monitoring, and physical examinations tailored to children's developmental stages. Manage specialized treatments such as tube feeding, ventilator support, and wound care, including suturing when necessary. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and coordination of services like dialysis or cardiac catheterization. Maintain accurate medical documentation using EMR and EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Educate families on health coaching, medication administration, and home care procedures to promote ongoing health management. Requirements Valid RN license with current pediatric nursing certification. Demonstrated experience working with children in settings such as hospitals, clinics, or home care environments. Proficiency in pediatric-specific procedures including IV insertion, specimen collection/processing, and airway management. Knowledge of pediatric physiology, developmental disabilities, and trauma medicine is highly desirable. Experience with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner is preferred. Strong communication skills for effective patient assessment and family education. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in fast-paced environments such as ICU or emergency room settings.
