Desired Qualifications:
Current and unrestricted RN license Minimum of 2 years recent CVOR nursing experience BLS and ACLS certifications required Proven ability to work cohesively in a high-pressure surgical environment Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Core Responsibilities:
Assist surgeons during cardiovascular procedures, ensuring optimal patient safety and outcomes Prepare and maintain sterile fields, surgical instruments, and necessary supplies Monitor patients' vital signs and respond rapidly to changes during surgery Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care before, during, and after procedures Provide expert post-operative assessments and contribute to discharge planning Maintain accurate documentation and adhere strictly to facility protocols
