This position involves administering intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) therapy to patients in the comfort of their homes while ensuring the highest standards of safety, care, and patient education. Key Responsibilities Administer IVIG infusions in patients' homes according to physician orders and company protocols Perform comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after infusion Monitor for adverse reactions and manage infusion-related complications Start and maintain peripheral IV lines (PIV); central line experience preferred (PICC/Port) Educate patients and caregivers on medication, potential side effects, and self-care Accurately document infusion details and patient responses in EMR Maintain compliance with infection control and safety standards Collaborate with pharmacists, providers, and care coordinators Requirements Skills & Competencies Independent and self-directed work style Strong assessment and emergency response skills Compassionate bedside manner Excellent time management Active, unrestricted RN license in [State] Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
