Your expertise will help promote healing, prevent complications, and improve patient outcomes through comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, and patient education. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while working within a collaborative and innovative environment. Duties Conduct thorough wound assessments, including measuring, documentation, and evaluation of wound progress using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic or Cerner. Proven experience in wound care management within hospital settings such as Level I Trauma Centers or ICU environments. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth for documentation purposes. Knowledge of advanced nursing procedures including suturing, IV infusion, catheterization, sterile technique, phlebotomy, and aseptic procedures. Experience working with diverse patient populations such as geriatrics in memory care or individuals with developmental disabilities. Critical care experience in settings like ICU or emergency medicine is highly preferred. Additional skills in areas such as pain management, infection control, trauma medicine, or hospice & palliative medicine are advantageous. Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered wound care! We value your expertise and dedication as we work together to foster healing and improve quality of life for our patients across all stages of health.
