Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Advanced Practice Nurse (APRN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will deliver expert patient care across diverse clinical settings, utilizing your advanced nursing skills to improve health outcomes. You will collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and ensure optimal patient management. Your expertise will help elevate the quality of care delivered to a broad patient population, including those in acute, outpatient, and long-term care environments. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories to inform diagnosis and treatment strategies. Administer medications and injections, including IV infusions and botulinum toxin treatments, following established protocols and safety standards. Perform advanced procedures such as suturing, catheterizations, spinal taps, and dermal filler injections with precision and care. Manage complex cases involving acute pain management, infectious disease care, geriatrics, pediatric care, or behavioral health conditions. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, and medical records. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and utilization review to ensure seamless patient transitions across care settings. Engage in telehealth services to extend access to specialized care while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations. Qualifications Valid APRN licensure with current certification in your specialty area; additional certifications such as ACLS or BLS are preferred. Demonstrated experience working in critical care environments such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers; hospital medicine or emergency room experience is highly desirable. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth; familiarity with CPT coding and
ICD-10/ICD-9
coding standards. Strong clinical skills in areas such as trauma care, infectious disease management, pain control, or geriatrics; experience with procedures like venipuncture or tube feeding is advantageous. Excellent patient assessment abilities combined with physiology knowledge and diagnostic evaluation expertise. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced settings such as urgent care clinics, outpatient clinics, or inpatient units; experience in telehealth is a plus. Knowledge of medical terminology and sterile techniques; comfort performing suture placement or sterile processing when needed.
