This pivotal role involves overseeing the delivery of high-quality, compassionate nursing services across various care settings. As a leader in nursing administration, you will ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, optimize patient care plans, and foster a collaborative environment for our dedicated nursing team. Your expertise will drive excellence in resident care, staff supervision, and operational efficiency, making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. Responsibilities Lead and manage the nursing service, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient-centered care aligned with agency standards and regulatory requirements. Supervise nursing staff, including RNs (Registered Nurses), LPNs (Licensed Practical Nurses), Physical Therapists (PT), Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA), and other healthcare professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, Medicare and MEdicaid guidelines, and state licensing requirements while maintaining accurate medical records and documentation review processes. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care across home health services. Oversee shift management to ensure adequate staffing coverage while optimizing resource utilization through EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems and EHR (Electronic Health Records). Monitor clinical performance metrics such as MDS (Minimum Data Set) assessments, and other key indicators to improve quality outcomes. Provide leadership in nurse management activities, including training, supervising, evaluating staff performance, and managing disciplinary actions when necessary. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of physiology and anatomy to support accurate assessments and effective care strategies. Promote a culture of continuous improvement by reviewing medical records, documentation practices, and ensuring adherence to healthcare standards. Experience Proven experience in nursing management within assisted living facilities/ nursing homes/ or home health agencies with demonstrated supervisory responsibilities - at least 1 year. Extensive background in nursing administration with familiarity in shift management, staffing coordination, and leadership roles. Good knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and Medicare policies. Hands-on experience working with EMR/EHR systems for documentation review and medical records management. Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively while fostering a collaborative team environment. Excellent communication skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving in fast-paced healthcare environments.
