Administer IV medications and injections accurately while adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols. Manage biologic infusions (training provided), catheter care and wound care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop discharge plans, coordinate case management efforts, and ensure continuity of care. Maintain detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and EMR/EHR systems. Utilizing nurse created user friendly documentation system. Educate patients and their families on health management strategies, including chronic disease management and medication administration. Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements Valid RN license in the state of employment with current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Strong clinical skills including IV insertion, phlebotomy, sterile processing techniques, and aseptic technique adherence. Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments. Communicate with MD as indicated. Excellent communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient-centered care across diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and behavioral health patients.
