1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Surgery/OR position at a Level II trauma center in Northeast Florida, requiring at least 2 years of OR experience and Charge RN experience. Details Work in a 10-OR surgical suite at a 317-bed Level II trauma center hospital in Orange Park, FL Surgical specialties include General Trauma, Ortho Trauma, Robotic, General Surgery, Urology, GYN, ENT, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Maxillofacial, Hand, Vascular, and Open Heart 1:1 patient ratio Day shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM 13-week contract Charge RN responsibilities required Documentation system: Meditech Requirements Active FL RN license or Compact RN license required Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required Minimum 1 year of Charge RN experience required US SSN and DOB required for consideration Two professional references required (Florida requirement) No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months All certifications must remain active through at least the first 30 days of the assignment start date Additional Information Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible The hospital is a recognized Level II trauma center and holds accreditations including the Get With The Guidelines - Gold Plus Stroke Achievement Award and Top Performer on Quality Measures recognition from The Joint Commission Ceil blue scrubs required Located approximately 30 minutes from Downtown Jacksonville, with nearby outdoor activities including golf courses, bike trails, and historic parks
