Registered Nurse Home health Agency Home Helpers Home Care of East Orlando Orlando, FL Job Details Contract $22 - $28 an hour 14 hours ago Qualifications Nursing policy compliance Patient treatment planning Care plan evaluation Caregiving documentation requirements RN License In-home healthcare experience CPR Care documentation Clinical case management notes Schedule management Driver's License Clinical assessment documentation Organizational skills Home healthcare regulations Managing patient records Care coordination Nursing care plan documentation Documentation reviews Utilizing background check services Office record organization Full Job Description The Registered Nurse (RN) / Administrator is a part-time, hourly member of the care team responsible for conducting in-home client assessments, developing and maintaining individualized non-medical Plans of Care, and reviewing caregiver visit notes to confirm services are being delivered consistent with the Plan of Care and agency policy. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Current, active, unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida Minimum of one year of experience in home care, personal/companion care, or a clinical setting preferred Working knowledge of Florida AHCA licensure requirements applicable to non-medical, non-skilled home care agencies, including Level 2 background screening standards. Skilled in organization, time management, and required documentation practices for non-medical care planning Able to communicate constructively with caregivers, office staff, and clients/families regarding care needs Reliable transportation, valid Florida driver's license, and current automobile insurance Comfortable working independently in the field with minimal direct supervision Conducts in-home assessments for prospective and current clients to identify appropriate non-medical personal care and companion services Develops, documents, and periodically updates each client's individualized, non-medical Plan of Care based on assessment findings Reviews caregiver visit notes and documentation for completeness, consistency, and alignment with the client's Plan of Care Travels to a client's home the same day when scheduling requires a new or urgent assessment Duties & Responsibilities Conducts periodic in-home supervisory visits to observe caregiver performance, client satisfaction, and continued appropriateness of the Plan of Care Communicates promptly with the Administrator/office staff regarding any changes in a client's condition, needs, or safety concerns identified during an assessment or note review Coordinates with the Administrator and office staff to ensure continuity of non-medical services for each client Maintains accurate, timely records in the agency's scheduling/documentation system Adheres to all applicable AHCA non-medical home care regulations, agency policies and procedures, and client confidentiality/HIPAA requirements Participates in periodic case discussions with the Administrator regarding client care needs, as appropriate Maintains and enhances professional knowledge relevant to non-medical home care and aging-in-place support through ongoing education
