Job Description:
Shift:
Days- flexibility required Works with the Regional Orthopedic Institute team to develop and review orthopedic clinical policies and procedures. Develops patient education and community outreach materials in collaboration with marketing to inform the community and increase market share. Monitors performance metrics and ensures compliance with activities required to achieve and maintain practice-specific certifications. Conducts daily rounds on in-patients with physicians to ensure desired patient outcomes and coordinates care issues with the interdisciplinary team. Collaborates with case management on post-op discharge planning and strategies to decrease length of stay.
Education:
  • Associate's of Nursing [Required]
  • Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
Work Experience:
  • 1+ orthopedic nursing and informal/ formal leadership experience [Required]
  • 1+ project management and/or process improvement of orthopedic related experience [Required]
Licenses and Certifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
  • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
  • Certified Orthopaedic Nurse (ONC) [Preferred]
Pay Range:
