RN Infusion Nurse/Phone Nurse

We are looking for a reliable RN for an infusion/phone nurse position in our busy and growing Neurology practice.

THIS IS A PART TIME POSITION M-TH 8-1 AND FRIDAYS 7

30-12 You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse or doctor. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing diverse basic care to those who need it while remaining patient and calm. Responsibilities Answering phone calls/voicemails daily and collaborating directly with office staff and providers. Administering Infusions Daily Prescription Refills Coordinating outbound infusions and obtaining prior authorizations for these as needed Collaborating with infusion centers/companies Skills Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate and able to handle stress Successful completion of RN license program is a must
