Key Responsibilities:
Deliver excellent pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing care for CVOR patients Circulate and/or scrub in cardiac procedures, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety Collaborate closely with cardiovascular surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff Anticipate surgical team needs during complex procedures Document all care and events accurately while adhering to facility protocols Support and educate patients and families about cardiovascular surgery recovery
Qualifications:
Active RN license Minimum 2 years recent CVOR nursing experience Advanced knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and instrumentation Current BLS and ACLS certifications Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills Comfort working in high-pressure surgical environments
