1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Hospice Admissions position in the Orlando territory, requiring case management experience and a valid FL or compact RN license. Details Hospice and palliative care setting serving the Orlando territory RN Admissions role functioning as a case manager Geriatric patient population requiring end-of-life care Caseload of approximately 5-7 patients per day Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts (9:00-19:30) Travel territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the hub/office
EMR:
Netsmart iPad provided for documentation purposes Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate Requirements Active FL or compact RN license currently in hand Current BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of recent hospice or case management experience required Flexibility with territory coverage is required Additional Information Responsible for hospice patient admissions across the Orlando service territory Timely documentation and clear communication are essential to this role Scrubs required in any color; jeans are not permitted No on-call responsibilities Local candidates are welcome to apply and will be considered at the travel rate Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
