Flexible Hours Available Make a Difference Where It Matters Most St. Augustine Youth Services (SAYS) is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse to join our team of professionals who provide trauma-informed care to children and teens. Our mission is to help youth overcome the effects of abuse, neglect, and mental health challenges—and we need your expertise to help them heal and thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide routine and emergency nursing care for youth in our residential and outpatient programs. Administer medications and maintain accurate medical records in accordance with state regulations. Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and staff to support the health and well-being of each youth. Conduct health assessments and monitor for signs of illness, injury, or medication side effects. Educate staff and youth on health, hygiene, and wellness practices. Ensure compliance with all medical protocols, safety standards, and documentation requirements.
Qualifications:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Florida. Experience in pediatric, psychiatric, or trauma-informed care preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
