This role is responsible for providing high-quality resident care, oversee nursing staff, and ensuring compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a rewarding environment where your skills in patient care and patient advocacy will make a meaningful difference. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and care plans Assess resident conditions, monitor changes, and report updates to physicians and interdisciplinary team Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements Supervise and direct LPNs and CNAs; assign duties based on resident needs and staff competencies Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive resident care Participate in care planning, admissions, transfers, and discharges Ensure adherence to facility policies, infection control protocols, and safety standards Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in resident condition Maintain confidentiality of resident information in accordance with HIPAA regulations Participate in quality assurance initiatives and regulatory surveys as needed Skills & Qualifications Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Knowledge of federal, state, and local nursing regulations and SNF operations Ability to supervise, delegate, and lead a team effectively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergency situations This position requires a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
